Meet Our Wingate Team
Adriana joined the hair team in 2003. She has been a stylist in the region for over twenty five years. Adriana brings her skills to each and every client consultation. Her extremely loyal clientele appreciate her warm personality and ability to create the best look for them. Adriana's education includes a degree in Business Administration from UNH and training at the American College of Cosmetology in New Jersey. She has received specialized training from some of the top L'Oreal educators in the country. Her work was featured in a music video for music artist Katherine Schell. Adriana's specialties include her customer consultations, cut and color treatments and working in a teaching environment with other stylists.
Adriana is so thoughtful in her approach. She gives her opinion, while respecting your opinion, your fears, and your dreams. As she works, she teaches you about how to care for your new style. I'm so glad I found her!

I sometimes would switch it up and go Boston Newbury Street but would always come back to Adrianna because she is the BEST.
Amazingly she is good wiith both a precise haircut and beautiful color.

I have very unruly hair...waves where i don't want them, ridiculous volume in the humidity, coarse and dry. Adriana is a miracle worker....she cuts my hair to counter these things and never disappoints! I was never happy with my hair before I found her.

The Wingate has done it again! I have been going for years for various spa services and each time have had the best experiences. My last visit was to try their hair services with their Master Stylist Adriana. Again my expectations have been exceeded. Who knew that even the process of getting your hair washed could be so blissful (shout out to Hannah, whom I now want to adopt). Well done ladies.

Jo is a master stylist and has been a member of the Wingate Team since 2004. She previously worked in Boston for 18 years. Her hair expertise has been sought out by magazines and she has been published in Modern Salon and Stuff. Jo's down to earth style and approach to formulating unique hair colors makes her a dynamic member of our staff. Jo graduated from the Horst Cosmetology School in Minnesota and attended education with the prestigious Toney & Guy in Dallas and Los Angeles. She has received specialized training with Bumble & Bumble of New York and the Maxim Salon in SoHo. Her personal goal is to climb the mountains in Nepal.
Kari Jo is a master at her craft! My hair looked awesome and I felt great leaving the salon. Right after at Starbucks, a woman walked up to me and said, "your hair looks glorious!" I told her Kari Jo was the reason. One excellent tip Kari Jo told me was not to get my hair thinned out. (its very thick & curly) She instead said to get layers at the bottom. This would avoid frizzing throughout my hair. With the layers, my hair felt lighter which I loved. She beautifully styled it with wispy waves/curls and it was SO smooth and Shiny! She also showed me how to style it and also the WHY on how to get the smoothing results, I learned so much! I've been getting compliments at work and everyone has asked who did my hair. Thank you Kari Jo for a wonderful experience!

There are hair stylists, and there's Jo...she's a true master. I've never had a better stylist. She listens, airs on the side of caution and ensures I always leave with exactly what I have asked for. She spends the time to make sure everything is exactly right. Plus she is funny and kind. I don't think I've written a review before but when someone is this good, you just have to pay it forward.

Carissa has been a member of our Wingate Hair Team since 2010. She attended the Laird Institute of Spa Therapy and The Continental Academie of Hair Design, then went on to complete the Wingate Salon Apprentice Program. Carissa is now a Senior Stylist with specialized training L’Oreal Professional Color, seasonal trends and up-style, special occasion hair. She enjoys working in the positive environment of the Wingate and learning from her fellow team members. During her free time she loves oil painting and hiking.

I have had so many great services over the years at Wingate so it’s hard to pick my favorite. The massage is always hands down the best anywhere, with a dark room, soothing music, a warm bed, and relaxing scents to soothe my soul. The facial is just as good, if not better because you do get some massage as well. I have had many talented hair stylists as well, most recently a cut and balayage with Amy and then layers when my hair grew out with Carissa. Love Wingate!

Blair joins the Wingate team with 15 years of experience. She is an artistic and passionate stylist who specializes in Hair Cutting/Styling and Blonding color services. Blair also has the experience of being an Advanced Technical Trainer for Haircuts and trend cuts. She loves making clients feel and look their most authentic selves.
During her down time, she enjoys cooking, finding new recipes, line dancing, going to the beach and spending time with her family.
Rose joined our Wingate Team in 2022. She joined our Wingate team as an Academy Stylist and was then promoted to Stylist level. She has a passion for Hair and Nails and enjoys continuing education. Her specialties are Color, Blowouts and Up-dos and she gives an amazing scalp massage.
Just had my hair done this afternoon and Rose did an amazing job! I was struggling with what I wanted, but she was able to take my ideas and transform my hair! She is so sweet and so kind! I would recommend her to anyone! Thanks, Rose!

I had a beautiful manicure with Rose a while back. She was fabulous and took her time doing my nails. I will book another manicure with Rose once my nails recover from gardening! I’ve had to cut my nails way back to barely anything as I broke a few nails digging and planting! They are on the road to recovery!

I had the Footlogix pedicure and it was amazing! Such care was taken with each step, the leg massage was incredible, and the polish application was flawless. Been going to Wingate for over 20 years and it never disappoints.

Gracie joined our Wingate Hair team in 2022 as a shampoo assistant. Our staff and our clients are glad to have Gracie on our team. She gives an amazing shampoo. Her goal is to continue her jouney by going to Cosmetology School and becoming a professional stylist.
We are excited to announce that Caryn is now a NH Certified Microblading Specialist. We are very excited to offer this service to our clients.
Caryn has been a member of the Wingate Skincare Team since 2011. She is a licensed esthetician and make-up artist with a real passion for advanced skin care. She has advanced training in advanced skin care, anti-aging treatments, peels and has also attended multiple Cosmedical education courses. With her knowledge on the up to date skin care trends, Caryn created the Power Facial here at the Wingate and has received education on the Microcurrent Treatment we offer which our clients love as an anti-aging treatment. She takes pride in working closely with other employees as an educator and mentor helping them to grow. Caryn has a great ability to form lasting relationships with her clients whom all appreciate her special care. The professional work environment and being surrounded by other professionals with the passion for this industry is what she loves most about the Wingate Salon & Spa. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking and wellness.
I had a skin treatment with Caryn and she was fabulous! She is always friendly and makes me feel relaxed and comfortable. I’m already looking forward to my next treatment with her at the Wingate!

Caitlin is our Nail Department Leader and has been a member of the Wingate Team since 2013. Caitlin is a graduate of the Laird Institute of Spa Therapy and also has an Associate's Degree in Hospitality from Great Bay Community College. She has earned educational certificates in event planning and hospitality. Caitlin loves working at the Wingate where people can relax and feel pampered. Her favorite nail services to perform are shellac manicures and any kind of pedicure. During her free time she enjoys exercising and hanging out with family and friends.

Caitlin has been given me pedicures for several years now and she is wonderful, Prior to Caitlin, I was having continual problems with an in-grown toenail. I had been to the podiatrist and underwent several treatments, but the ingrown always returned. Caitlin worked on the toe (gently and efficiently) and resolved the problem. Haven't had an in-grown for over three years! In addition to her skill, I also appreciate that she is always upbeat, friendly, interesting to talk to, and efficient. The perfect combination!

Jenny joined our team in 2021 after completing her Masters Program at Catherine Hinds School of Esthetics. She is passionate about skin and always looking to learn and grow to advance her skills. She specializes in Dermaplaning and advanced skin care services. She loves to connect with our clients to help them reach and maintain their skincare goals. Her free time she spends with her family and enjoys the outdoors with her dogs.
I have very sensitive skin, yet, the Dermabrasion given me by Jenny, during my Power Facial, was extremely gentle and non- irritating. Many steps to the Power Facial took years off my aging face. I have decided to have them regularly. Jenny is very experienced and I don’t want to recommend her, because I don’t want her booked when I make my next appointment. But, the truth is, you should book her!!

Kassy joined our Skin and Nail Teams in 2023 after graduating from the Empire Beauty School in Somersworth. Kassy is a talented Esthetician and Nail Tech. Our clients and staff love having her as a member of our Wingate Team.

Michele has been a proud member of the Wingate team since 2005. She works closely with Team Leaders, Supervisors and Staff to ensure the Wingate client experience and the continued growth of our service providers. She works closely with our Luxury Brands to ensure we have continued education for the service providers. While not at work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Amy has been a loyal member of the Wingate team since its origin and has over 30 years of managerial and customer service experience. Her experience and education allows Amy to capture the Wingate vision - that every client leave feeling better than when they arrived. Over the years, Amy has built many close relationships with clients, who still ask for her personal assistance today. As Hospitality Manager, Amy's responsibility is client care ensuring client satisfaction. Her advanced course studies have allowed her to build an amazing team and helped to develop an organized and efficient front desk for an ease of doing business with The Wingate. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends and at the beach.

We are so excited to have Tina on The Wingate Team. Tina is a team player and enjoys connecting with both our clients and our staff. She works closely with our service providers to help them grow and build their confidence. Our brides and party guests enjoy working with Tina, she gives them each special attention so they have an amazing Wingate experience. During her down time she enjoys gardening, boating and spending time with friends and family.
Booked my daughter’s bridal party for a girls day out package. Everyone raved about their experience! The mimosas were flowing, our hands and feet were polished to perfection! The facial experience was relaxing and our skin was glowing afterwards! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all warm and welcoming. Highly recommend them!

Marie has worked at the front desk of the Wingate since 2004. She has a Business Management degree from the University of Southern Maine. Marie enjoys working with the friendly staff and clientele at the Wingate. She finds it truly rewarding to make Wingate guests happy. Her approach to client care and customer service makes her a valuable front desk team member. During her time off Marie spends time with friends and family, playing with her animals, going to the beach and watching "Chick Flicks".
Laurie joined our Wingate team in 2017. She is a graduate Boyd Career School and USAirways-Inflight which range from travel, tourism and hospitality degrees. Her specialties include her love for people which has allowed her to excel in customer relations. She has attended many seminars during her years in the travel/hospitality business training and was awarded the NHLRA Hospitality Award. One of the things Laurie enjoys about the Wingate is the charming and tranquil historic space. On her free time she loves spending time with family, sports games, gardening and her newest hobby of cooking with Fermentation for super foods.
When I walk into the Wingate I always receive a warm greeting from whomever is at the reception desk, but I want to give a special shout-out to Laurie! She's got such an effervescent personality and always wears a smile. She could give a master class in hospitality! =)

We are very excited to welcome Donna to our Wingate team.
Donna joins us with years of experience. The past 8 years she has worked at boutique inns. She is organized, efficient and a multi-tasker. She likes helping people and keeping busy. During her down time she enjoys spending time with her children, gardening and cooking.
Mallory joined the Wingate Team in 2008 as a licensed massage therapist. She received her education at Hesser College in New Hampshire. She is continuing her education in various areas of massage including aromatherapy and reflexology. While in school Mallory was told she had a natural ability for massage therapy, and our clients agree. Her firm yet relaxing touch and combination of techniques cater to each client's individual needs. Mallory loves to help her clients maintain a healthy body and sound mind especially during stressful times.
Excellent massages. Have been a few times and all masseurs were wonderful. Love the whole atmosphere at the Wingate; everyone so friendly! Also had manicure there and came for at least one of your Open Houses!

We recently had our first couples massage and our first visit to Wingate. From our arrival to the end of the appointment, we experienced wonderful customer service. The champagne was delicious and it was nice to spend some time together before the massage. Carol and Mallory were clearly skilled massage therapists. I typically get massages monthly and this was hands down, literally and figuratively, the best massage I have ever had. It has been years since his last massage and he had the same feedback regarding Mallory. We chose the 80 minute massages and wished it was longer. We are booked for October and on the wait list. We are definitely making this a standing date. Thank you for such a great experience!

Karyl has been a licensed massage therapist since 1996 and joined The Wingate Team in June 2009. Karyl taught various modalities at the Dovestar Institute in Hookset, NH, with her specialty being Kriya Massage, Neuromuscular and Reiki. Kriya is a fluid, flowing and intuitive massage that allows the therapist to connect with the client on a deep physical and energetic level. In Kriya Massage the therapist keeps continuous contact which allows the body to communicate it's needs to the therapist in a quiet atmosphere which allows true healing to occur on all levels. The effects of this massage are long lasting and deeply calming. Besides being a co-director for several years at the Dovestar Institute, Karyl also taught Reiki to the nurses at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and later implemented a massage program for the staff.

Christa joined our team in 2021. She has over 15 years experience as a Massage Therapist, graduating from Dovestar Institute in 2005. Her specialties are Deep Tissue, Kriya Massage and Intuitive Massage. Christa's passion for Massage comes from helping clients with pain relief and destressing. During her free time she enjoys spending time with family, friends and trail walking with her dogs.

I recently went to Wingate salon for a deep tissue massage with Krista. Right off the bat the staff were kind and welcoming! The place is so well maintained and clean that it truly has a relaxed vibe, making you feel like you are being pampered. I really appreciated Krista's massage assistance. She helped me work out a knot I couldn't get to. Thank you for making your establishment such a joy to visit!

I had a deep tissue massage with Krista today. Oh my goodness, she was wonderful! Very polite, considerate as to asking me if it was too deep or was hurting me. She certainly had a hard job in front of her since I was tight as a rock. I feel wonderful now and I immediately scheduled another massage!

I had the prenatal spa package that included a massage, manicure and pedicure.
The masseuse was fantastic. She was so accommodating to my 39-week pregnant state and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.
The technician that did my manicure and pedicure was wonderful. She was patient and very detailed.
I can’t wait to come back with my daughters for more services!

Welcome Perry to The Wingate Massage Team!
Perry graduated from the North Eastern Institute of Whole Health. He specializes in Deep Tissue Massage and the Grigorian Method of Massage which includes joint movement and range of motion in combination with pressure points. He likes being able to help clients find relief from lower back pain. We are glad to have Perry on our team and so are our Wingate guests.

I had the most amazing deep tissue massage with Perry!
He was very thorough prior to the massage in asking what areas I may have pain or be holding tension in. I feel as though he really listened to me, as he found every single knot I had!
When I left, I literally felt better than I have in AGES!
My only regret is that I booked the 50 minute. Do yourself a favor and book the 90 minute!
I will definitely be returning to Perry and booking the longer massage next time!

Patrice joined the Wingate Massage team in 2022 with over 12 years of massage experience. Patrice specialized in Deep Tissue and Medical Massage. She has specialized training in Prenatal Massage, Myofacial Release and Craniosacral Therapy. She enjoys helping our clients have a great experience. When not at the Wingate she enjoys the beach and skiing.
